Eric's Aunt's House

Jake paused, and turned around. "Where'd you go? Selia?"


And yes, indeed, Fry was trying not to look.

Selia had already stomped off and was pouting at Holly.

"You WHAT?!" Holly sat up, and stared at Selia like she had gone mad. "You LIKE him?"

"I do, as a matter of fact! Keep your voice down! Fry and Eric are right there!" Selia hissed.

"I'm quite aware they're right there. And why would you like him? He's a horrible pervert and he's such a jerkass!"

Fry came over. "You liked Jake?!"


Eric came over too. The two had concluded that dolphins partially live there and migrate with the birds. "That's awesome, Selia!"

"He's sweet, Holly! He really is. And he's not a pervert, not very much at all! He's never once made a perverted comment to me all year and he likes my cooking and, Yes, Fry and Eric, I do. But apparently he doesn't like me."

"What did he say?"

"Well, first he thought I meant as a friend, then when I kissed him, he was like, 'Oh, you know a hug would have been enough' after I kissed him."

"Well, then you should have hugged him." Fry said bluntly.

"I was pretty ticked off he didn't like it, actually!" She said, crossing her arms.


[DYING.DYING.DYING. BYE UNTIL MY DAD GETS FREAKING HOME.]

"Not every guy is going to fall for you the moment you kiss them, Selia."

"I s'pose not, but I thought he liked me, and.. Listen, next time I'll just hug him, okay?"

"Yeah, you should stick with hugging him!" Eric replied.

"Thanks." Selia put on her sunglasses again, sighing.

Fry sat next to Holly and wrapped his arm around her. "You happy?"

Holly mouthed to Fry, "My best friend's in love with our stalker. Do you THINK I'm happy?"

Fry couldn't help but laugh. He leaned in and whispered, "Some taste she has!"

Holly smiled, and gave him a little peck on the cheek before laying back down on her beach towel.

Fry stretched out and leaned back. "I'm not much of a hot weather fan..."

"I love it... nice, warm, and you get pretty good tans."

"I don't tan. I don't burn, I... nothing happens in the sun with me. I mostly just depend on the water. You know, go swimming."

"Ah, I see. Swimming's fun, I guess. I don't really like it."

"Wow, I wouldn't have guessed- That's strange. I don't like tanning, or anything to do with the heat. You enjoy it. I like to swim, and it's not exactly your favorite thing."

"That's weird." Holly laughed.
