Jake frowned. "That's all you've got to say!? I was thinking... we could take this bakery business serious! You teach me how to cook, I would help cooking some things while at home and taking care of the kids, and I'd visit you many times to help around! And when you'd come home, everything would be clean, and there would be a dinner ready! Once all of them are in Hogwarts, I'll get a job going once more, and we'll both be working together!"

"That sounds wonderful. Honestly, simply wonderful. It's a plan now, okay?" Selia smiled at him, then turned on her back and groaned. "I haven't even changed into my pajamas and I just want to go to sleep now."

He hugged her. "Okay, it's fine, just sleep,"

Selia gave a sort of exhaling sigh, and fell asleep rather quickly. Labor is tiring.

Unlike her, Jake stayed awake and staring at the ceiling. He had quite the nice life. He had the best wife possible, too. He was a happy man.

Rachel was knocking politely on the door. She had been wanting to see the baby, now!

Selia got up and went to the door. "Company!" She said loudly, then opened it. "Oh, Rachel!" She squealed, hugging her friend.

"Hi!" She hugged her in return, and politely stepped into the apartment. Rachel's nose wrinkled up. "Phew! The smell of disinfected is horrible!" she gazed around. "...And it looks a children's hospital in here."

Selia rolled her eyes. "Gosh, is it that bad? I cleaned the whole place before we even took Charlotte in here. I was so worried about germs."

"You don't want the place to be completely sterile for her." warned Rachel with a serious look in her eyes. "If she isn't exposed to SOME germs then she won't develop certain immunities..."

"What?" Selia asked, looking surprised. "How do I un-clean?!"

"Um... you could get things messy on your own, but that wouldn't work..." Rachel considered. "Just leave things alone. I mean, of course it's important to be clean and wash your hands, but it doesn't have to be sterile. It'll be comfortable for your visitors, anyway."

"Oh, okay. Thank you so much, Rachel. It's been really great, having a baby, and Jake is one of the best dads ever. Here, come look at her. Her name is Charlotte. Isn't the the absolute cutest baby ever? Here, you can hold her, I know you have kids, you'll be fine."

Rachel gently took Charlotte in her arms, and carefully rocked the little baby back and forth. "She is one of the sweetest babies! Look at her, she doesn't even cry."

"I know, isn't she so darling? And look at her cute little ears, and fingers. I simply adore her. I can't wait until she can eat real foods.."

Rachel carefully counted each of her tiny fingers. "You two are bakers, aren't you?"

Jake entered the room. "Well, she is." he said happily.

"Oh, hi Jake!" said Rachel politely. "It's so nice to see you again! How long has it been?"

"Hmmm.. Since the wedding, right?" he said and nodded at her. "Hey, Selia, I'm going to walk the dog, okay? Bye, love you!" and he kissed her before leaving with their now-huge dog.

"See you later!" She called after him.

"Bye, Jake!" Selia said, giving a little wave. "Isn't he great? What was I saying. Oh, yeah, I'm a baker, but he's not really. More of an eater. I suppose he's going to help a bit later, but that's lots in the future."

"He can be your official taste tester!" suggested Rachel.

"Well that's what we've been doing- and that's why he got the dog, to lose weight from my candies. He quit his job a while ago, said he wanted to be a stay at home dad. Now I get more time in at work and we're making more money. How are things with you and Nicholas?"

"Ohhh... things are good! I'm pregnant again... if you couldn't tell anyway. But we're hanging in. He's pretty happy, and so am I."

"Oh, that's great! I'm really happy for you. How many kids are you planning on having?"
