Olivia spied Amanda out of the corner of her eye. She picked up a bread roll, and tried to throw it at her. However, it fell short by a quite a few meters.

Amanda sighed, and without the roll's help, went over to Olivia. "Dude. Life. Blech."

"What about it," she said monotonously.

"Wallace, it's like, he's all 'AMANDA MY FLOWER!' and now I'm ignored."

"Maybe he's sleepin' in. Doesn't seem like we have classes today."

"Fuuuu. Who knows."

"Fuuuuu?" Olivia imitated.

"Short for freak."

Course she didn't say freak.

"... You just swore."

"Yeah, so?"

"You never swear."

"Yeah, yeah I do?"

"... Whatever. Why were you just standing by the door?"

"Waiting to give him his gift."

"Wait... if he slept in... why don't I just go to his common room and see if he's just in bed, and leave the gift there!?" Amanda nodded to herself, "That's it!" She got up grinning. "Wanna come, or am I going alone?"

"Stairs," Olivia whined. "Do not want."

Amanda grabbed an apple and ran. "Cya Liv!"

Olivia didn't care much for the thought of being alone again, but she'd rather take that than walk up all those stairs.

Ten minutes later Amanda came bag, cursing furiously under her breath and red in the face. SHe sat beside Olivia, biting into an apple angrily. "He wasn't there, and I fell on my butt."

"Welcome back." Olivia was halfway through an orange.

"God, he probably got me some amazing gift, and I go him something lame."

"What did you get him?"

"Monoply Jr."

Olivia gave Amanda her patented what-the-hell stare.

"...He's into boardgames."
