"Alright, but if we ever go on an airplane again, I'm going to stay awake the whole time."

Jake shrugged. He stood up. "Hey, I'm going to head to the dorm, I'm EXHAUSTED."

"Do you mind if I come with you, or is it weird?" Selia asked, not standing up.

"Why would it be weird?" He still didn't get the whole romance thing.

"Because people might think we were.. going to sleep together. In the same bed." Selia said.

Jake raised an eyebrow. "But we're not."

Selia shrugged. "People are weird."

"Would the house elves know?" she asked to the empty seat across from her. "Where did they get the plates? Where did they get the desks?" Screw logic, this was Hogwarts - this was no ordinary school. But then, where did ordinary schools get their supplies? Where did that muggle academy Olivia attended from primary school get their desks? Those motivational posters about reading that lined the halls? Where did that sticky clay used to hold said posters to the brick walls come from? That last one, especially.

Holly entered the Great Hall. Her eyes landed on Jake and Selia, and she ran over, sitting across the table from them. "Hey!" she cried, grinning. "How was your winter break? Mine was AWESOME! Selia, I don't get why you don't like hanging out with the guys, they're so FUN!"

Libby, however, had a much less exciting and fun winter break, and joined the group of people who were burnt out and tired from their break. She trudged over to the Hufflepuff table, and sat down. There was no Kelsi to talk to. Rachel and Serenity were nowhere in sight, and neither was Amanda. There was that one Slytherin girl, but Libby couldn't even really remember her name... not like she was trying too hard to, anyway. She scooped some mashed potatoes and gravy onto her plate and ate slowly. Next break, be a bitch to Kelsi and make her sleep on the floor. Or the couch. Or in Drew's room. Haha. wouldn't that be funny if Kelsi transformed into a werewolf in Drew's room? That would be funny!

Jake grinned. "Yeah, they are!"

[[PM discussion. IT WOULD BE SO FUNNY DREW WOULD FREAK OUT AND YEAH.]]

"Yeah! But, what did you guys do over in Japan over Christmas?"

[[HE'D PISS IN HER]]

"Live life, eat fried chicken, go to festivals, talk, hang out, oh, Selia met my family."

[[And she'd be like WEREWOLF RAEG.]]

"They have fried chicken in Japan? I thought it would be like, only teriyaki chicken and fried rice or something!"

[[Nonono but she had the potion. :< So it'd be really awkward.

"Oh, my grandpa had so much of that in his childhood, he hates it more than anything! Today, he mostly eats fried chicken and fruits. It's bad for the heart, but he doesn't seem to care."

"Fruits aren't bad for the heart!"

"No, but the fried chicken is."

Olivia set aside her internal discussion about the origins of school appliances and began to wonder where the heck everyone was. Were they even awake yet? Weren't there classes that day?

"So, Holly, why was your Christmas break so great? I had a great time, I'll tell you everything before bed tonight- Jake's grandpa was totally crazy, on Christmas Day, he took a video camera and.. and I'm sooo exhausted from the airplane ride." Selia finished.

"Eric, Fry and I had THE BEST time! We went out to the beach in the snow! I turned blue! But I'm fine now, I guess. And, it was so fun--we had to sneak out my window, though, cause my brother's so protective and doesn't let us leave the house."

"Fry?" Jake raised his eyebrows. "Really? Wait- seriously?"

"WHAT?!" Selia screamed excitedly. "WHY DIDN'T YOU WRITE ME?!"

"Shhhh- you guys. We don't want to know he's escaped." Eric hissed as he sat down next to Selia, and reached for some grilled cheese sandwiches.

"Right, right. Sorry. But, really?! I want to visit him! Is he okay? Is his family safe too?" Selia whispered excitedly.

And suddenly, a hopeful little fifth year girl piped up beside them. "Fry escaped!?" she shouted, loud enough for the rest of the Great Hall to hear.
