Illumination Island

"Anyways, where can I sleep, Liv?"

"Oh, you're gonna stay...? Well, all the rooms are open... except mine, of course."

"Obviously." Serenity smiled. "I'm going to go take a nap- I haven't slept in a bit." She went upstairs, leaving her messily packed suitcase downstairs.

"Oh, okay, bye..." Olivia sighed, took her feet off of the coffee table, and sat up straight. She looked over at Serenity's suitcase, and began contemplating getting revenge for her room by vandalizing some of her belongings.

Inside the suitcase was nothing much, simply a the same number of jeans and of t-shirts, some excessively frilly underwear, and one iPod.

Serenity got upstairs and went into Angel's room, smiling in the familiar environment, and plopped down on his bed, trying to nap.

Olivia shook her head and looked at the fireplace, wishing that Angel to walk out any second and wrap her up in a bear hug.

Serenity, in less than ten minutes, was out. She really needed the sleep.

And then the time-space continuum warped and it was the next day.

Serenity went downstairs, hoping Liv made breakfast, but not expecting any.

Olivia was lying facedown on the couch, snoring away. There was the smell of scrambled eggs wafting in from the kitchen.

"Geez, Liv. I wouldn't start breakfast and go back to sleep, what if it burned?" She asked, even though Olivia was asleep. Serenity went into the kitchen, yawning, rubbing her eyes, and following the food smell.

Angel was standing by the stove in a girly apron, frying some eggs.

"Angel!" Serenity squealed, face breaking out into a grin. She tried to ignore the apron. "I can't believe you're actually- has Liv been asleep the whole time?! She should know you're here too!"

Angel looked down at Serenity. He pushed her away and out of the kitchen. "Shoo."

"Hey, but I'm hungry! I could help you cook, if you'd like.." She trailed off, losing the grin and going and sitting on the arm of the couch next to Liv.

Olivia didn't move.

Angel went back into the kitchen, took the apron off and stuffed it into a cupboard, and began grating cheddar cheese over the scrambled eggs.

"Olivia, wake up. Angel's home." Serenity said to the corpse sleeping person on the couch.

"I know." She pushed herself up and rested her chin on the other armrest.

"You did? Why didn't you tell me he'd be here so soon, I wouldn't have slept in his room."

"He got here like half an hour ago..." She kept her eyes shut.

"Has he been cooking breakfast for half an hour?"

"No."

"Then when will it be ready?"

"Don't know."

"Urgh." Serenity jumped up and sat down at the dining room table, stomach growling.
