Max laughed. "Did you see Drew? He's too shy to talk to anyone!"


"Okay okay okay! Let's make a deal. If we switch jobs for how about..." she thought for a minute. "A week, and you realize how tough my job is you'll..." she contemplated for a moment. "Buy me a wedding ring."

Kelsi sighed. "Hey, Rachel, Libby's gone let's get more wine." she said with a smile.

Libby glanced around, and saw her brother laughing it up with some guys that Max invited. "Yeah, too shy, huh?"

Nicolas shook her head. "No, no. When I was little and saw that shit on TV, it always ended up horribly! Besides, I already bought you a wedding ring!"

"...Errr." Max gazed at him for a minute before returning back to his dancing. "He WAS looking pretty awkward when he first arrived."

"I mean a ring that didn't come out of a vending machine, Nick." she grumbled. "And you're just chicken aren't you? CHICKEN!" Rachel tugged on Kelsi's dress. "My husband is a chicken, Kelsi! I hope you marry someone more manlier then mine!"

Kelsi shrugged awkwardly. "Well... I don't know! I mean he was manly enough to have sex with you!" She laughed awkwardly. Then she realized how bad that would sound, especially with what happened with the two of them. "I-I mean... well... yeah! He's an auror, and he does support you, but at the same time, without you, the kids would be a mess, there'd be poo stains all over the walls..." Kelsi sighed.

Rachel gave her a glare, letting that comment sink in for a minute. "HEY! My house is perfectly clean! What makes you think that there would be poo stains?!"

"Only if you didn't care take your children." Kelsi said giggling.

"...But how would get on the wall?" She suddenly shook her head. "No, don't answer that."

"It did not come out of a vending machine!" He got all up in her face, nose-to-nose. "It cost more than you'll ever make, you lazy..." he searched for a public-appropriate word, and ended up only sputtering out, "... person!"

Kelsi frowned sadly. "Both of you should stop fighting! It's a Wedding, don't worry, be happy now!" She put her arms around both Nicolas and Rachel. "Life is a precious thing. You two should be lucky to share it together. So, I say, be happy. It's all I say."

"Kelsi. You're right at this being a Wedding, because it's not a Mass." But she sighed. "Okay Nick, let's stop fighting. And please get your face out of mine."

He hesitated, but said, "Alright," giving her a quick kiss while he was up in her face. Might as well. Besides, trying to focus on Rachel so close-up made him dizzy. Maybe he'd had enough to drink... "So, Kelsi, what have you been up to lately?"

"Yeah, we haven't talked about you for a while. Got a job? Boyfriend? Fiance?"

Kelsi sighed. "If I'm here, obviously I quit being a teacher for a while. You were right, Rachel! All those kids were such pains! Plus I was older than the Seventh Years by a year, and they'd always try to hit on me. And I don't know if it's a boyfriend. We've gone on a date, and snogged... But then we kind of forget each other for a period of time. We send each other letters every once in a while! I do love him, though. It's just really complicated." She said happily, with a shrug. Some guy with a tray walked by with a pretty little glass of some alcohol, and Kelsi took it.

"Wait, you're not teaching anymore?!" Rachel asked in shock. "What are you doing now? Sitting around at home?"

"No!! I'm helping Ally, and Robin with her job, I got something there! I'm just taking a break, you know? Trying to wait a bit."

"Until you're old enough to go into mean teacher mode, that is."

"Goodbye!"

The Wedding was over, and everyone was standing outside the winery, throwing rice at Max and Libby. Max was yet again tugging at her arm, laughing out of pure joy to an old fourties looking card that had an adorable just married sign on it with a couple of cans tied to strings.

Max held the door open for Libby, and he got in himself.

"This is great! We're finally married!" He cheered, doing a little punch in the air.

Libby had thrown her bouquet, as customary. She had gotten in the car, riding shotgun as Max drove. "Woohoo!" she cheered, grinning so widely her cheeks were hurting. She held his hand and gazed out of the window as they passed the winery. Since they had been pronounced married right at sunset, it was already dark. "Finally! I can't believe it, really. It seems so... surreal."

"Exactly!" Max wasn't shocked into silence, like Libby was though. "...Anyway, we're staying out this nice Bed and Breakfast, and we're leaving for Greece tomorrow, and..." he continued to babble on. A few minutes later, he squeezed her hand even tighter. "The night will pass quickly though."

Kelsi had been crying again when they left. Now she was just packing her things, and felt extremely dizzy and tired. "Wheeeew, fun party that was!" she giggled, and held her shoes under an arm and held her purse with her other hand.

Libby squeezed his hand in return. "It sure will." She turned a bit pink thinking about what would happen that night.
