A Vineyard

Kelsi promised. She did. But she couldn't help it. She started to cry. She was trying to keep them in.

Libby didn't care about how goofy his manly smile was. Sure, it was goofy. Max was goofy. He'd wronged her, yes, but all of that was behind them, and now, as the sun set over the hills and they kissed, they were married. It was just like the many years ago when they had kissed for the first time--only now they were bond for life and there was no risk of getting braces caught together.

Kelsi was so happy for her friend! So she began to bawl. Loudly. She tried to hide her face into the flowers she was holding but it wasn't possible.

Rachel was smiling again-but this time it was genuine. But she felt how bad-how rude she was on her friends wedding of all days! Ah well, the reception was going to start now!

AND SO AS MAX AND LIBBY WALKED DOWN THE AILE AGAIN TOGETHER, THEY HEADED TO THE RECEPTION.

Their dance was to some pretty classical music. Pretty traditional, no Thriller or Ice Ice Baby or anything of the like. Giving Max a peck on the cheek and saying hello to coworkers and new lady-friends of hers, Libby made her way through the crowd to fine Kelsi and Rachel.

As they split apart, Max went off and found his MANLY UNMARRIED BUDDIES.

Meanwhile, Rachel was next to Nick, where they were drinking martini after martini. She was starting to grow rather red, and giggle a lot.

"...Oh, a little more wine please... ah, that's great. Thank you!" She said to a waiter. When she saw Libby, she waved her down. "MISS BRIDE!" she yelled with a sing song sound to it.

Kelsi was with Rachel, also drinking along. "This wine... is amazing." she said, sighing. "You know, Libby, I went into the bathroom to fix the makeup, and I just started crying again! It took me three tries to finally get it right again!"

Libby herself got a martini from a waiter, and took a sip from it. She had vowed to herself not to get drunk, no matter how delicious the martinis were. "Kelsi, don't cry! It's my wedding, not yours. I should be the one crying."

"It was beautiful. It is beautiful. You are beautiful!"

"AH!" Rachel butted in between the two conversations. "At least you can afford this kind of getup! While you two are burning money, me and Nick are starving to death!" She giggled, and wrapped an arm around his shoulder. "Isn't that right?!"

"I'm not burning money," Kelsi said seriously. "I don't even have a job."

"Well, the two newlyweds are!" Rachel said, giggling even more then ever.

Kelsi shrugged. She began to drink a bit, and soon she downed that one.

"We wouldn't be if you weren't spending all of my money!" Nicolas half-accused, half-laughed. This made Libby feel uncomfortable. Here she was, having this big grand wedding, and her two best friends had to elope and weren't even engaged, respectively.

"Don't drink too much, now!" Libby laughed awkwardly, finishing off her martini.

"Nicky-boo, honey dear, what the hell am I spending all our money on, apparently. YOU were the one who was out at the Leaky Cauldron 'till twelve-thirty last night." She said, mid giggled.

"It was all on Har... Harold. Yeah!" Nicolas sputtered in defense. "He was paying!"

"HAH! Yeah right! YOU were the one kept spending the money on all those drinks! And you didn't even invite ME!"

Kelsi frowned at them, and giggled a bit. "This is quite the show," she said happily.

"I was NOT! And if I invited you, who would take care of the kidlets?" he snapped at her.

Libby put her hand over her mouth and whispered to a nearby waiter, "Cut those two off. They've had enough." He nodded and went off to tell his coworkers.

"Where do you think they are now?! At all old Mrs. Jones' in town!" she said right back, glaring. "She'd be more then happy to watch them for a night! 'Oh, it's a pleasure, Mrs. Sawyer! I've had no grandchildren myself and blah blah blah...'" she said, imitating the old lady.

"Bah, you know you get all teary-eyed whenever we leave the kids with someone."

"I do not! YOU'RE the one who does!-Oh wait, you're never home to even see them, anyway!" she said, turning even redder. She then raised her hand. "WAITER! WE NEED TWO MORE BOTTLES!" Rachel hollered.

"LIBBYYY!" shouted Max, running up to her gleefully through the crowd. He was a little red too, but nothing compared to Rachel and Nick's faces. "It's time for the first dance!"

"Without me, you and them would be living in poverty! I support them, and I'm home all weekends and in evenings, too!"

Libby slapped Rachel's wrist and pulled it down. "No! They're cutting you off. You two have had too much." She then turned to Max. "Max, honey, we've already had the first dance. Right when we got here, remember?"

Rachel huffed, but she turned back to Nick. "I could get a job-" She snapped her fingers. "Just like that! YOU try caring for all the children and housework for a day! You'd collapse with exhaustion!"

Max laughed a bit. "Oh... really. How about we dance again!" And she grabbed her arm, and tugged her off to the dance floor, like a little kid.

Libby went with him, getting a waiter to fill her martini glass along the way. She and Max danced all cutely and stuff.

"You'd get fired on your first day in the Auror's office, I bet! I could easily take care of kids!"
