Helen then began to chatter away. "...Of course, I don't want to be chained to this part FOREVER, my dream goal is to be in Les Miserables..." and she went on talking about her goals and aspirations in the performing arts career.

Antonio wasn't really listening to her. He would have told her to shut up a while ago, but he just didn't want to. He had decided to change. America was strange, though. He wondered if his English accent bothered her.

Finally, she had gave him a chance to talk. "So, you're from Britain, right? Have you lived there your whole life? Why did you decide to come here, don't they have theater where you live?" Helen interrogated.

Antonio laughed sarcastically. He then walked away, kind of not wanted to finish the conversation, and went up to the director people, and asked them when the practice was.

Sure, Antonio felt bad! But whatever, really. He'll have time to socialize with her later.

And so, it was a practice. The first one to be exact. He memorized every single song, even those that weren't his, and knew them by heart. He managed to push in some note-learning and key-learning, and all that stuff. He knew them mostly by heart now, except for some of the keys with the sharps and flats. It was hard work.

It was time for practice, and there was Helen, standing right beside him, giving Antonio unneeded advice.

"Tony, your singing doesn't come from your throat. Sing from your chest!" said Helen firmly.

"How about Music Of The Night? That's one of the songs you have. And remember, you can't just stand there and sing." she warned him. "You have to act as well, or you'll put the audience to sleep. That's what makes Broadway so difficult."

Antonio nodded slowly. Maybe Broadway wasn't the place to start. But he wasn't going to let down all these people. "Of course, I'll try my best. So, how do we practice exactly?" he said with a small laugh.

It was after another practice- tons and tons of practices. Antonio was beginning to get attached to all the actors and actresses. He felt like they were his family, he felt like a new person. Away from all that happened in England, he just felt at home.

It was nighttime and all the people contributing in the musical stayed overtime. They were all called off for a break at that time, and Antonio went outside to relax in the fresh, Icy cold night air. Christmas was coming up. He breathed out, and his air formed a large cloud of mist around him. The temperature bit at his fingers and face, and managed to creep through the small holes in his shirt.

Antonio was really happy. Happy to be able to start life again. He vowed not to mess this up. The memories might still be there, but it's all gone. He began to hum one of the songs from the musical.

"Hello!" came a chirping, happy voice.

It was Helen, who was a black and white polka doted dress, with a fashionable matching trench coat over it, with a pair of white heels that were at least three inches high.

In her gloved hands, were two mugs of hot chocolate. Helen carefully sat down next to him, and passed him one.

"I thought you might be cold!" And she took a look sip of it, and sighed contentedly.

"Tell me about England. Did you live in London?!"

Antonio took the cup of hot chocolate with a thanking nod. He took a long sip, then stared straight ahead. After she asked that, he decided to change the subject. He pointed at a bird in the sky longingly. "Wouldn't it be nice to be a bird? You could fly away from problems. Also, birds have smaller brains so they'd forget easily."

"Actually, I'm terrified of heights. And, I don't want a small brain. I like my big brain!" she said bluntly, with a nod. "But if that's what YOU want, fine by me. Anyway, what's England like again? Does it rain there a lot? Is there farm land? Are people happy there?"

Antonio laughed. "Depends how you look at it!" he said cheerfully, avoiding looking at her. He may have been smiling, and he may be have gotten many skills from all the practices in acting, but even the mask he is to be wearing couldn't hide the look in his eyes. "But, it's a great place to go if you want to visit old sites from the Medieval times."
