The New Brown House :A

"I was thinking a little longer than that..." he said awkwardly.

Kelsi sat up and turned to him. "You're being really vague. What do you m-mean?" she asked, her voice suddenly in a whisper.

Drew sat up as well, but propped himself on one knee. "I mean that I want you to marry me."

With that, he pulled out a small black box from his pocket, and in it was a ring. It wasn't big and ornate, but it wasn't too small, either. It had a nice, shiny diamond with Kelsi's birthstones on either side of it.

Kelsi out her hands to her mouth and her eyes widened. "O-oh my God!" she cried out, and tears built up in her eyes. She threw her arms around Drew's neck, and the box fell. She immediately let go and began looking for it, and held it in her hands. "S-sorry,"

Even though he was so relieved for her to practically say yes, his fingers were shaking as he put the ring on her finger, and not from the cold. He squeezed her tightly, teeth chattering loudly.

She hugged him back as tightly, and began to cry happily. "Y-y-yes!" she whispered and moved her hands up to his face, cupping it in her small cold hands, and kissed him.

Drew kissed her back, and gently pulled away. "... Hey," he started, standing up and holding her hands. "Let's go back to my place. It's nice and warm. You can stay the night if you'd like."

Kelsi knew that time what he'd mean. She paled a bit. Of course, she was terrified of having sex. All the touching and all that stuff... She wasn't going to let him know that. "O-of course! She stood up and helped him up. "We'll spend the night together. And get warm."

So, they walked back to the Brown house. "You want any hot chocolate?" Drew asked, hanging up his coat and waving his wand about. "I've got plenty."

"Yeah, I'd love some," Kelsi said with a smile. She hung her own coat up, too, and put her wet hair up in a ponytail. She kicked her shoes and socks off.

Drew followed suit, and soon enough the hot chocolate was ready. He handed a steaming mug of it to her, and went to sit down on the couch. "Ahh, it's so much warmer in here!"

"I know... Happy new year! We're what year now?" Kelsi said smiling, and blew on her hot chocolate.

"2002!" Drew exclaimed, sipping from his hot chocolate. "How's it taste?"

Kelsi tasted it, and gave him a thumbs up. "Great! Probably the second best hot chocolate I've ever tasted."

"Only the second?!" he faked a look of being dumbfounded. "Why that's preposterous! Insulting! Who's the best?"

"This cafe by my apartment. The most amazing stuff ever. But, I have to say, this is a real close second!" Kelsi tried to wink but she never was good at it.

"We'll have to go there sometime," Drew said, sipping his hot chocolate and cuddling up next to Kelsi.

Kelsi set her head on his shoulder and lifted her knees up so that her feet were on the couch, and set her knees against his chest. "I love you," she sighed.

He gave her a light kiss and whispered, "I love you, too."

And then the two were kissing once more like that time in the elevator.

Drew tried to set his hot chocolate on the coffee table, but ended up dropping it on the floor. Oh well, magic could clean it up, no problem.

Kelsi had already finished hers, having set it on the couch, but her foot slid and knocked it onto the floor, too. She eventually was over Drew, the two were snogging like there was no tomorrow.

Thus, clothes came off and they had sex. Without a condom, since Drew doesn't keep any stashed away at home.
