Defense Against Dark Arts

Class was going to start in five minutes. Several students poured in, including the patil twins.

Robin wasn't there, though. No surprise. She technically stopped going to DADA. Something about Lupin wasn't right....


Kelsi hummed and kicked her feet back and forth. She was waiting for Rachel to respond on her beautiful eyelashes in which she had proudly fixed up herself.

Her thoughts drifted to Drew, and his beautiful blue eyes.... NO. She can NOT become like Libby or Rachel, who are... well, obsessed with their crushes. She won't become a stalker. But, who said that she can't think about him?

Serenity groaned.
Then she grinned and whispered something else to Liv.

She sighed, looking away and tapping her lower lip. Then, she smiled and turned back to her. "DEAL!"

Serenity grinned. "DEAL!!!" She held out her hand, shaking on it happily.

Libby forced herself not to drool over Max, and turned her attention to Kelsi. "Did you use some of my mascara this morning, Kelsi? -_-"

Dean said something to Max, and he laughed, his teeth really DID look nice after his braces were removed, straighter, and whiter, and in all more healthier looking. And oh look, more music started playing. How lovely.

Liv smiled, and her head snapped back to the window and whatever was outside.

Serenity squeed loudly, much to the amusement of some peoples in the back.
Then she turned to Rachel. "After Lunch today in the same spot? Libby can get out the drums."

[WHO IS LUPIN.]

(Kelsi. KELSI COME BACK.)

"Eh, maybe, I was thinking maybe after dinner, you can get more crowds after dinner. Since everyone is going back to their Common Room's and stuff."

"PLUS, you're going to help me after lunch," said Liv, who popped up between them.

"What song are we playing?" Libby asked them.

"I dunno, but still,"

(Hmm, it appears I am winning the battle currently Beth? =3)

"And wait, WHAT?" asked Rachel.

Liv sank down again and popped up back in her seat by the window, which she again looked down from.

Nicolas was being a shota.[/win]

KElsi shifted her weight uncomfortably.
"Maaaybeeee...."


Lupin went to the front and clapped his hands together.
"Alright, class! Since you're all here earlier than usual, we'll start the class earlier than normal! And you'll get out earlier, don't worry. I'll be fair. Anyways, can you all get out your Hinkypuff homework, please?" He seemed to be high on coffee, and exceptionally jumpy. Something was up.

Serenity was daydreaming.
About Liv's side of the bet.

-Oh there goes that old gray man talking again. She handed in her essay boredly.

"Profesor Lupin!" called out Max. "I forgot to do it!" Max had a rather mock surprise-ness and shockness in his voice. "But it's not that important, right!?"

Nicolas was eating a chocolate-chip cookie (hey, just because he's fourteen does not mean he can't eat cookies), and there were some crumbs around his mouth. =3

Kelsi handed her essay into the bin that was floating through the isles, and leaned back in her chair.
"I can't wait until summer."


Lupin's bin moved through the isles as he was writing some stuff on the board. It was a review on Hinkypuffs, and they were to reciete the defense spell for him, individually. Also, as discipline, they have to do it in front of the entire class. Too bad if they didn't practice, he told them to, and those were the expectations.

Lupin spun around.
"NO, if you fail this one assignment, it will go on all your reports, and your future career will be impacted by it! I expect it to be 100% by all of you or you'll fail my class! And I'll report it to Dumbledoor!" he said sharply. There was a gleam of humour in his eyes, though.

It was an inside joke, between him and his third-year class. They always did this on the least important assignments of the year. He had personally told them that it was just a small sheet that had nothing to do with the actual work.

Although the joke was getting ridiculously old, the students loved doing it, so he just played along with it.

"Oh no!" exclaimed Max in mock horror. And oh dear, he realized. He hadn't practiced that incantation. He didn't think it was THAT important, so he didn't practice.

Rachel on the other hand, did. She got lucky. <3
