Amanda's New Apartment

"There's nothing to say."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure!" Olivia sounded rather indignant. She had given up on finding the remote without even trying, and had resorted to stretching out her leg in an attempt to reach the channel-changing button on the TV set with her big toe.

"Reeeeeaaccccch!"

She let her leg fall limp. "You do it, miss metre-and-a-half!"

"Noooo. I've been working all yeaaarrrrrr."

"At least turn it off. It's just noise."

Amanda got up, and walked the yard and a half to the TV, and turned it off. "There."

She smiled. "Was that so hard?"

"Easy enough a Cave Man could do it."

"If it was so easy why didn't you do it?"

"You're the host."

"I hate it when you are right."

"You must have a lot of hate, huh..." She yawned. "What time is it?"

"Mid afternoon."

Olivia gaped. "You're kidding!"

"No... my train pulled in at eleven, I got here at twelve. Would have apparated, but it's too risky."

"Why am I awake!?"

There was a knock.

"...I don't even want to ask." Amanda sighed and went to get the door. SHE OPENED IT AND!?

Something small jumped on her. "AMANDA! It's me, Kelsi! Now don't punch me or something, I'm so so so sorry for never bothering talking to you this year! But I'm here now... She lifted the Daily Profit. "Did you see this?!" she cried, pointing to a small collumn.

It was about Angel and how he was sent in a nutcase house. "I didn't only come here for that... I mean, I want to see you again, right?! So... how's life been this long dreary year?! I have so much to say... You wouldn't believe how much I had to go through to find where you lived. I mean, I think I'd pull off a pretty good stalker! But also- I can't find Serenity nor Olivia, and I was wondering- I mean, I want to reunite with everyone, I miss them so much... Howhaveyoubeen?!" She said the last part really quickly since she was immediately running out of air.

Olivia had turned onto her knees and was now staring at them over the back of the couch.

Amanda grinned largely, and tightly hugged her friend. "Ooooh! I've missed you!" She let go after Kelsi stopped talking. And her voiced dropped a bit. "...Olivia's been staying here since the... incident... she is kind of weird lately because she was there during all of it, but otherwise." Her voice quickly went back to the the normal, cheery tone after saying the worse of her own news. "I haven't seen Serenity though. And last I saw Rachel was a week before she was about to pop. I've been good, just finished college..." Amanda stepped away from the door, as if to say come on it. "What have you been up to?"

Kelsi nodded. "I've graduated- and I'm going to be a teacher at Hogwarts! Oh, it's great, isn't it?! Everything's going the way I want. The only thing is... is that I'm going to be a really young teacher, so it's going to be really awkward when there are kids younger than me by one year." Kelsi grew quiet, though. "Olivia's been staying here?" she asked quietly. "Can I go see her?"

"Oh, lucky! I'm growing through for four years... Eurgh." Amanda smiled a small smile, and moved out of Kelsi's path, and seeing as Olivia was right there, well, she saw her.

Kelsi's eyes softened in a motherly way and she made her way over to hug Olivia. "Hey. It'll be fine. You'll get through. We always do. You've just got to think of your good memories with him, okay? It's alright to mourn." She glanced at Amanda in a appologing way for cutting out of their conversation.
