Hospital Wing

Rachel turned towards Malfoy who was indeed just that minute bending over beside a bucket, vomitting.

"Serves him right," said Rachel glarring at him. "And that sucks, sorry that you're still sick. Do you know when you're going to be well again?"

"Oh, it's ok. I'm not too bad." *LIES LIES LIES XD*
"I'll be out by tonight, so yeah. And, you look really pretty. Did Serenity give you a makeover? It really fits you well. Except there shouldn't be as much mascara."

"Oh that's good," said Rachel. "And yeah, she did. And I agree about the mascara, but I kinda like it. It feels good sometimes... to truely be a girl, you know what I mean?"

"... Yeah, I do. Anyways, it fits you well.

...

...

... I think I lost like, 15 pounds from tonight."

"Nah, I doubt you've actually have. You probably just feel that way from being so sick." Rachel looked thoughtful. "I had the flu about a year ago, and I felt that way too."

Kelsi smiled.
"I bet a lost a bit, though. I mean, I feel so empty." she laughed, and sat up.
"Like them so far?" she lifted the half-finished glove.
"I just have to sew the sides together, and then I'll just do the other one."

"Yes, they're adorable!" Rachel stroked it admiringly. "I tried to learn how to knit once... I was too impatient too. So, you're lucky you can."

"Eh, I once tried to make a hat but I kept dropping stitches so I gave up. But still, you can have them. I already have like three pairs myself."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'm fine with it."

"All right, thank you. I better get going. See ya!" And with a little wave, Rachel left.

She left in time so she didn't see Draco vomit yet again.

Kelsi cracked a smile when he barfed. She took her hourly med.

And who to come in and visit Kelsi but Libby and Cambria? :3

"Hey, Kelsi!" Libby said, and sat on the edge of Kelsi's bed. "Kelsi, this is Cambria. Cambria, this is Kelsi."

Cambria attempted a smile. She wasn't quite aware of Libby dragging her into the hospital wing. One moment, she had been studying for an upcoming exam, and then Libby had bounced in, saying something about visiting a girl on the hospital wing.

"Err, hello," Cambria said carefully. She sounded like an idiot, and somehow, a British accent had popped out of her mouth. Perhaps it was because this was in the UK, and most of the professors spoke with an accent?

The world may never know.

Kelsi grinned weakly.
"Hey," she said cheerfully, and sat up.
"I can't wait to get out. I mean, everybody's groaning, and moaning, it's getting stupid." she nervous-laughed.
"And, I had the most terrible night. Ever."


She pulled the covers back, and her smile widened. She looked a bit frail from the flu, but otherwise she was loads better.

And so, Rachel wandered in, and ran up to Lav. "Lav, we should be getting to class soon-" She turned towards Cambria. "Oh, who's this?" she asked. Rachel wanted to get to know her right away. I mean, after all, more friends the better, right?

"And I miss cream puffs ;~; Could you guys get me some after lunch? I need my fuel, you know."

"Cambria, Rachel. Rachel, Cambria." Libby smiled. "Kelsi, I wish you felt better. I'll get you homework assignments for you, if you want," Libby offered. Then she added, "And I'll bring you some cream puffs."

Rachel rolled her eyes and sighed. "Kelsi, you shouldn't be eating creampuffs for lunch when your sick. What you need is some soup, obviously."

"Screw soup. That stuff's for wussies. Forget homework. I NEED MY CREAMPUFFS."

"Ah, well, it was nice meeting you all," Cambria said, confused. There were too many people talking at once, and there were other students there, visiting other patients. "I suppose I'd better get going... I have an exam tomorrow. Goodbye... Rachel, Kelsey, Libby... random people... uhh...yeah."

She turned around and quickly left, wondering if anyone was going to follow her. No one did, but a few people stared after her. She had been there for three years, but she was sometimes classified as a nobody. The people in her Slytherin house rarely spoke with her, unless they wanted an answer to a school-related question.

Sighing, she started fast-walking back to Slytherin, passing many first-yearers. She snorted at them.

Rachel looked back at Cambria as she left. "She's seems really shy..." she said thoughtfully. "But, I'm SURE she can climb out of her shell. I am determined, and I will succeed!"

Rachel had than balled up her fists, and looked towards the ceiling, and had air as though she could conquer the world.

(Lawl, I'm going to start roleplaying better... less one-liners and such.)

Cambria eventually found her room, which she shared with two random girls she never had the chance to talk with. The girls were best friends and made no effort to let Cambria in their little group -- not that she wanted to join them, but whatever.

The room was empty when she got in, so she decided to settle on her bed, and not study. Instead, she looked through her trunk at the foot of it, and found her iPod that was hidden away so no one would steal it.

She put the earphones in her ears and turned it on, shuffling through the songs until she found something worth listening to, Brahm's Lullaby.

"Bye Cambria!" Libby called, before Cambria had completely left the hospital wing. Libby crossed her arms, and out of nowhere, a shockingly painful cramp shot through her stomach. She held her stomach, and fell over on Kelsi's feet. She moaned, and closed her eyes.

"Rachelllll," she moaned, dragging out the name. "Kelsiiiiiii... it huuuuuurts..." she mumbled a curse word under her breath, and rolled onto her side, trying to be comfortable. She didn't really care if she was killing Kelsi's feet.
