Ravenclaw 3rd Year Girls Dorm

"Yeah, I know," said Rachel who was now counting out the money that they all made. "We have to do this more often, it's really fun, and we're making a profit at the same time!" she continued counting, and after a few minutes she said: "I'm going to buy a new dress with all this money."

Serenity crawled up, grinning.
"Rachel! How much did we make? That was SO FUN! I loved it! Great! Amazing! People! Singing!"
She was shouting words without sentences that didn't make much sense.
Serenity came over to the bed, watching her count money happily.

"All right," said Rachel who had finished counting all the money. "I say we just split it off like last time," she sorted the coins into piles by kind they were. "You get half, I get half. Simple."

"Great."
Serenity took half of the galleons, then half of the sickles, then half of the knuts.
"So tomorrow, do you wanna do picture to burn and 500 miles?"

"Yeah, that sounds good, and I was also thinking.... we should also do something else besides singing. Because, you know, after a while the crowds might get bored with it. So we'll be needing a back up plan or something."

"Dancing? Er- Cause, singing concerts every day would be nice, but we need something more that drives them. I'll think on it."
Serenity bit her nails, thinking hard. Fireworks? They'd get in trouble.
Dancing would keep them entertained for a while, but it would get old.

Rachel flopped down on her bed and thinked. For a very long time. "I can't think of anything, what about you?"

Robin shrugged.
"How about another instrument?"

Then, suddenly, being the Ravenclaw she was, Rachel got an idea. "I have an idea!" she yelled. She quickly ran over, and grabbed a few of their earnings and stuffed in her pocket. "I'll be right bag!" and than with that she ran out of the dorm.

Rachel ran back upstairs as quickly as she ran back down. "Never mind that, we'll have to wait till later. Anyway," she flopped down. "Does anyone know a guy that will be learning a difficult dance with me for a small amount of money?" she asked.

Serenity frowned.

"No fair! I wanna dance with someone too! And we're not doing that stupid dance that looks like robots! We're doing amazing with normal stuff, we made nothing when we acted like idiots!"
She crossed her arms. "I was thinking we could buy some pyrotechnics from the Weasley Twins."

"I wasn't thinking of that dance, darling. And buying fireworks WILL make us look like idiots. I mean, watch us accidentally explode and ruin something valuable. Besides, they're the Weasley's products. They're not really ours, you know."

"You guys could add an extra instrument."

Serenity glared at her angrily.

"Well if your dancing with someone, I want to too. I mean, it's not fair-- It's just as much my show as yours, aren't we splitting the money? And, Robin, yes, how many times do you have to suggest that?!"

"You know what, forget my idea about some guys in too the performance. And we shouldn't be fighting. We're in this together. And, maybe we COULD add an extra instrument... can you play anything?" asked Rachel hopefully.

"Percussion or something would be so useful. Or maybe keyboard. That would be so nice. I have to figure out what I'm gonna wear tomorrow, Rachel, you would look so nice if you let me do your costuming for you.."

"No," Robin said calmly. It was a casual tone, but had a weird icy sound to it, as in, shut up and leave me alone.

She resolved in writing in her journal.

"Fine, you can do my costuming, just nothing too girly or slutting, OK?" she said to Serenity, with a serious look on her face.

Serenity nodded happily.
"I'll get right on it, Rachel!"

Selia stepped in here excitedly. "Thanks, Serenity."
Serenity looked up. "For what?"
Selia said, "For remembering my birthday."
Serenity grinned. "Oh, your welcome!"
Selia made a noise and ran back to the second year dorm.
Serenity grinned and brought out an outfit for Rachel. "Here you are, Ray!" BAMF.

Rachel stared down at it, was fingering it. "It's pretty, but... it's a little... colorless too me. Do you mind if I add some colors to it or something?"

"Only green or orange. It has to look good with your guitar."
Serenity wondered why she was sitting there.

"I'll take green, orange doesn't look good with me. It clashes with my hair, you know?"

"I'm going to bed. My outfit's gonna be a surprise."
Serenity crawled under the sheets and fell asleep quickly.

And so, Rachel was soon asleep again.
