Mezza Luna

Amanda looked shocked. "Really!? Meooow?" Her meow was cheesy, but still recognizable as some sort of noise a cat would make.

Again, Trevor looked somewhat uncomfortable as he kept that odd little corner-smile up. "Hah, yeah..."

"So...what do you do besides stalk bookstores and work here?"

"Well, I'm in a band, actually."

"Neat! What do you play?"

"It's sort of a cover band, actually. We take rap songs and redo them in sort of a roadside-acoustic style."

"Oh... I've never actually tried to listen to rap before."

"It's palatable, I guess."

"Eh. I had a college roomate who got me into some indie, and then I just go for pop and hip-hop most of the time."

"Ah. I'm not much of a pop fan, personally."

Amanda shrugged, taking a sip of her soda. "Oh... I got that book you were looking at in the store the other day. Decided against the fantasy one. I loved it!"

He lit up. "Really?! What part are you at so far?"

"I'm well... done, actually. I stayed up pretty late the night I got it! Couldn't put down." Amanda blushed, it couldn't be anything but nerdy to pull an almost all nighter for a book.
