"...So, describe to me how you feel."

Rachel took a deep breath, and looked up at the Healer with a worried look in her eyes.

"Lately, I've been feeling completely nauseous. I was cooking some chicken for myself, and I felt like I was going to throw up-which, I've been doing a lot lately. And, on top of that, I've been very grouchy. Do you think...?"

The Healer sighed sadly. She knew all the signs of what's wrong with her. But, she knew it was better to break it easily.

"Would you like to take a pregnancy test?" she offered.

"Yes." said Rachel timidly, and she got up, to go take the test...

"Nick! Isn't she beautiful?!"

Nine months and seven hours later after a tough labor, that included a lot of shrieking, the marathon was all over, and the reward had came out.

Rachel was laying there with her head against the bed, her face all sweaty and tired looking, her red head impossibly frizzy and messed up, but the look on her face was beautiful. She looked absolutely peaceful, and happy, with a look of pride on her face. Yes, Rachel did. At long last with lots of anticipation and tears, she had given birth to a beautiful red-haired baby girl, that cold morning on December 29th, at 9:46 AM.

Nicolas reached over and gingerly brushed a strand of hair out of Rachel's face, smiling warmly. And, he too was proud. Screw having to get a job and a home and have a baby straight out of Hogwarts. Seeing how happy this made Rachel was enough to make it all worthwhile. And if Rachel was happy, so was Nicolas.

Although, it was likely he wouldn't be saying that in a couple of weeks when the baby found her voice.

"What's her name?" he asked softly.

Rachel turned to stare at him for a long time, with that same look upon her face. "What do you want it to be? She's your baby."

Nicolas thought for a moment. He'd always been terrible at thinking of names. In fact, he hadn't even given it much thought, until now. "She's your baby, too. I didn't go into labor, you did," he said, trying to buy some time. "But the name Sophia is rather nice."

She twisted a curly of her baby's hair, and she slowly counted all of her fingers. "... I actually like that." she said quietly, after some thought. "Her middle name must be Ruth though. That was my Grandma's name."

"Alright, then!" Nicolas grinned widely. He laughed nervously, looping his arm around Rachel's shoulders, and holding her close to him. He wasn't sure what to say now, so he just held Rachel.

Suddenly, there was the crashing sound of the door being kicked open. There stood in the doorway, the image of some short person hunched over with her hair and robes fluttering in the air from the force and speed of the door opening.

Kelsi stood there huffing and puffing. "The elevator wasn't working so I had to take the stairs." she managed to wheeze out, and suddenly her intimidating posture settled down. Her slightly manic expression softened into a small smile, and her eyes went all watery. She stumbled over and slipped her dark brown cloak off her shoulders and set it in the crease of her arm, and sighed. Tears welled up in her eyes, and she bent down to look at the baby. "Oh, how beautiful... Is this lucky one a boy or a girl?" she said in the quietest voice possible.

Rachel on the other hand, if she wasn't so protective over her baby, she probably would have dropped Sophia. Luckily, she didn't, however.

"Wha-what are you doing here?!" she said in shock.

"Well... I predicted exactly when your baby would be born, and I realized it would be towards the last few days of my break! So, I've been visiting and asking for both Monaseem and Sawyer for the past two days, and I was correct, so I came up as fast as I could only you had to pay to get into the elevator and I used up all my cash getting here via muggle transport and such, and then I finally got here, and Oh my gosh! I need to sit down. But... that's not what matters. Your child is beautiful." Kelsi avoided trying to blink, because she knew she was going to start crying.

Rachel blushed a little, but she couldn't help but smile at Kelsi's energy and happiness. "Thank you..." she said slowly. "Her name is Sophia... would like to hold her?"

"I..." Kelsi grew a big grin. "I'd love to..." she whispered, scared to talk loudly in case 1. The baby will start crying. or 2. She'll start crying.

Kelsi finally arrived an hour later, and indeed, saw Libby at the desk. "Hey, girl!" she said happily and walked over.

"Kelsi!" Libby reached over the counter and gave her a big squeeze. "I haven't seen you since... Christmas! What've you been up to?" She said this in a quiet tone, as to not disrupt other patients.

"I've graduated! And I've been accepted to Hogwarts!" Then her look darkened. "You didn't tell me you moved in with Max. What stage did you two get to." she crossed her arms and looked at Libby in a scolding way.

Libby turned bright red and began stuttering like mad. "K-Kels! Who t-told you that?! I live with him, but i-i-it's not like we did anything! I mean, we hug every now and then, cause we're friends, but..." she trailed off, and looked down bashfully. "I'm dating someone else, okay? And he dates other girls. Crazy girls, at that."

Kelsi glared at Libby. "And you never told me this? I tell you EVERYTHING. Either way, you figure it out considering that I'm somewhat dating your brother even though we've never dated before-- hey, have you gotten any interesting news other than this?"

"If you tell me EVERYTHING, how come you haven't mailed me for the past six months? Since I got kicked out, you haven't spoken to me at all! And, no, I haven't gotten any news." She tilted her head to the side curiously. "Why?"

"I'm so sorry about that.. And, oh, nevermind. It should come soon- hopefully today!"

Libby arched her eyebrows. "Alright, what's up? And how do you know about it?"

"I helped attribute with it." Kelsi said happily, and looked proud of herself.

Libby burrowed her eyebrows together. "Kelsi, tell me. What did you DO?"

"I don't know why I should tell you when you never tell me anything." Kelsi said smartly, and jumped up to jumped up to sit on her desk, messing up a few papers.

"You were at SCHOOL, and I was at WORK!" she whisper-hissed, pushing Kelsi lightly off of the desk, and straightened up the papers. "Get down, what are you, five?! Besides, you never told me where this fancy school was, or even the name of it! Or even send me an owl to see if I had found a house or a job!"
