"I'm sure you're just getting carried away. Your mind's probably just playing tricks on you and going to the worst possible scenario."

Kelsi stretched her toes and stared up at the ceiling. Libby's bed was so comfortable...

"Hey, Lib, I can't believe Holly went in with Fry!"

Fry sat outside on the front step. He was in a serious thinking mode.

"I can't believe it either! But, they have been dating for a while. Holly seemed so upset, though... I hope she's okay."

"M-Me too! I feel bad that we walked in on them after hearing Holly scream. I wonder why she did scream though, Fry didn't have his pants off."

"I dunno. Maybe he started feeling her up or something." Libby giggled. "Poor guy."

Kelsi sighed dramatically. "I miss the little Fry... So much."

"And the little Holly. Weren't they so cute when they were little?"

Speaking of Holly, she had seen Fry, and went to sit beside him. "Hey. What's up?"

Kelsi sat up and grinned widely. "YES! They were- so CUTE! Oh gosh... I miss those days!"


"Oh. Hey." Fry said and moved over for her to sit.

"I know! And they were so innocent... and now they're having sex! Or, at least trying to."

"What's up?" Holly asked again, sitting beside him and hugging his arm like she always did.

His arm was stiff. "Oh, you know... just... enjoying the scenery." He pulled his arm away, and used the moment to do big movements with his hands.

Kelsi laughed. "Yeah... It was so sweet. Those days. Now... this." Kelsi's voice went a bit shakey.

"Yeah. It's really nice living out by the ocean. You can watch the sunset... hang out on the beach..." Holly hoped that he'd suggest they could do some of those things later. Alone.

Libby nodded solemnly. "God. I hate it. It seems so... unreal."

"Hmm..." Fry seemed to go into his own thoughts.


"And unfair! How could it all change! I- I mean, remember third year?! When we all had to endure those changes together?! We, like... Everything was- perfect!" She ran her fingers through her hair.

"Fry... what's wrong?" Holly asked softly. "Is it cause of last night?"


"Remember when we both started our periods?" Libby laughed. "I remember it clearly. We were like"--Libby widened her eyes, in a shocked expression--"'Oh my gosh! Rachel! I'm so moody and I saw stuff on my underwear!'"

"No- What?" He looked down at her. "Of course not."


"I REMEMBER THAT- Oh!" Kelsi gasped. "Remember... "I lost my virginity!'?"

"So... what's on your mind?"


"Remember when you dared me to hug Max? I swear, when I hugged him, I must have looked so constipated cause he was like 'Libby, are you okay?'" Libby cracked up laughing.

"... Not much." he lied.


Kelsi began laughing too. "Oh my gosh, I remember that! A-And, that bet we did with Rachel! When we both had to hug Snape, remember that?"

"Don't lie to me. I can tell something's on your mind."


Libby gasped for breath. "I--remember! And remember when we were on the train and Rachel and Nick acted like crackheads? They even said so themselves!"

"Holly, nothing is on my mind!"

"Yeah! There were these two guys- I don't really remember them well- And then that one weird girl- Remember that one summer you and me? We were like... acting really weird."

"Okay. Fine. You're just acting a bit strange." Holly crossed her arms and looked off in one direction, away from him.


"We pretended we were stranded and acted like two-year-olds even though we were like... fifteen?"

"I am? Sorry... Just kind of nervous what your brother's going to do."


"Oh gosh, how embarrassing..."

"What do you mean?"


"I know! I can't believe we used to act that way!"

"What? Oh, nothing!" Fry laughed.


"Well, hopefully we can change that, if it's not too late, right?"

"... Okay then." Holly looked wary, but dropped the subject.


"I think we've already changed it. I mean, we don't run around screaming about being lost on an island, do we?"
