Amanda, of course, only realized the quiet and walked over to Olivia. "What happened?"

Olivia ran over to the trashcan, got to her knees, and puked. "DEAR GOD WHY"

"Maman......"

Amanda only made out 'ma' in that word, then the smell of blood in the wind.

"... I'm so sorry."

"Get out, Amanda. I don't recall inviting such an immature freak."

Amanda cringed a little then held up the invitation. "I'm sorry for your loss." Then she quickly walked int othe fire place and said calmly, "Monaseem Household."

Olivia sat up, wiping her mouth on her arm. "YOUR MOM JUST GOT OBLITERATED BY A MUGGLE TRANSPORTATION UNIT, AND YOU'RE RIGHT BACK TO INSULTING PEOPLE!?"

"She was going to die soon anyways. It was- it was just a matter of time," Serenity said, trying to sound cold, but voice shaking. "Besides. She ha-hated me."

"... Why?"

Kelsi was shaking and walked to Serenity. And yes, she was crying. Silently, but the tears were running down.

Serenity just stared at Olivia, then hugged her, starting to cry now that everyone else was gone.

Olivia hugged back. "I don't see how she could hate you..." she said quietly.

"Thank you..."

Elroy was in the bathroom and therefore had not noticed anything.

"Umm... Should you call the law enforcement or something?"

"Of course. Right."

Serenity didn't move towards the phone.
"Oh, couldn't you!?"

"Okay... uhh..." Olivia walked over to the phone and picked it up. "... okay... umm..."

And she appeared through the fireplace. "...You guys?"

Olivia held up the phone. "What's the law enforcement number?"

"... Check the phone book. The yellow book. Do you know how to use a phone?"

"... I think I used one once ..."

"... Okay. You know what? I'll do- What the hell, why are we at the phone?! We need to help Serenity bring- bring- Why didn't you guys do anything? We don't call the law enforcement." Kelsi ran over and wiped her eyes. They were still red-rimmed and her nose looked kind of red. She grabbed the phone, and punched in 911. Then, she pressed the green button, and put it to Olivia's ear. "Tell them the details. You know, a woman has just been hit by a car, and we think she may be dead. I'm going to go check her pulse." Kelsi ran outside and dropped to her knees next to Serenity. "... Serenity, there's nothing I can say. But one thing is, is that it's not your fault that she got hurt, okay? And whatever happens, you'll still have your dad, and your sisters. Now..." Kelsi coughed. It seriously did smell like blood. "I don't want to touch her... but- where's her wrist? Or neck, at least?"

Olivia waited for the ringing to stop. "Umm... Someone just got hit by a... err... c-car...? She might be dead... Address? ... Umm... I'm not sure... umm. R-Rosensteel..."

"I don't know! I haven't- haven't seen her!" Serenity said, curling up next to her legs. "Is it bad..?"

Kelsi didn't answer. "I'm not a doctor, b-but the signs are clear." she said, after a few moments. Then she was completely silent.
