"You should have gotten it. BESIDES I'M REALLY HAPPY RIGHT NOW." Indeed, Jake shed a tear. He thought this was a really big moment for him.

"I did get it! And, yes. Do you want to untie the ring or should I?"

"You should! It's your's now! You should learn to take better care of your stuff."

"You're the one who tied it to your shoe!" Selia started laughing again, and untied it from Jake's shoelace, making sure to retie the shoelaces, and put it on her finger, just staring at her hand for a while.

Jake leaned against her, looking at her finger. "Isn't it pretty?"

"It's beautiful. It's the most perfect ring in the history of ever." Selia said, smiling at it. "I feel really guilty, so.. How much did it cost?"

"Five of my month's salary. And half of my savings. But it was worth it."

"Half of your savings? Holy.." She shook her head. "I can't believe you. You could've just bought me one made from wire, I don't care." Selia stared at the ring for a while longer. "Okay, I do care. And there's no way I'm taking this back."

Jake grinned. "Yaaaay!" He yelled and hugged her tightly.

Selia smiled, and instead of hugging back, just let herself be hugged.

He hugged her tightly.

Selia started going off about something- wedding plans. She just kept talking and talking, quietly, of course. There was a beach mentioned, and dress prices, and flowers, and corsages, and cars, or maybe horses..

"Horses." Jake said, agreeing with her. "Horses are better. And you should wear white, even though you just had sex with me."

"Oh, of course. I wouldn't wear anything else. I mean, you are the one I'm going to get married to. The only one, ever. So, it doesn't seem fitting to wear anything but white."

"Yep. And we should have a lot of rock music playing."

Selia looked quite alarmed. "During the wedding? Or at the reception?"

"Both! And have a rock version of that Here comes the bride thing."

"Er.. I don't think that's such a good idea. I mean, for the reception, sure, but the actual ceremony.."

"Oh, fine, fine." Jake said laughing.

"Now, what about the honeymoon? Where do you want to go?"

"We should go.... to Italy."

"Italy? Oooh. I was thinking beach, though."

"You do know there are beaches in Italy? And Spain, too."

"Well then, that's perfect!" Selia said, with a smile. "Now, guests. I want to keep it small."

"Me too. Let's invite everyone!" he said loudly. "Except for my grandpa."
