Lin walked silently down the street, away from her house. She seemed to be taking quite a lot of walks lately, since Laura had started her, 'I walk over everyone' phase. She kicked a pebble, then ran her fingers through her dirty blonde hair. She had matured a bit latrely, and decided no mora stupid green stripes.
Laura appeared behind Lin with an annoyed face. "Why aren't you at home?!"
"I'm taking a walk. I've been gone two minutes. And it's broad daylight."
"So!? The balance of the house is off--"
Lin didn't listen just kept walking. Away from Laura. Away from the house. Just, somewhere near the river.
