Charms Class

Amanda walked in, her schoolbag hanging from two of her fingers, dangerously looking as if were to drop a whole inch. She decide to sit in middle row like usual today.

Rachel sat in the back of the Charms classroom as usually, staring out the window. She was sleepy... she didn't get much sleep last night. And, she was feeling rather anxious.

Amanda was watching some of the first year in flying lessons. It was pretty funny seeing them flail their arms as they got hit in the face with a broom, of when they were thrown up into the air.

Rachel was watching them too, hoping to spot some familar faces. She saw a few new kids from her house, but she didn't recongnize anyone else besides that.

Serenity ran in, plopping down next to Rachel with a sleepy grin. She had finished the transfiguration essay last night very early that morning- apparently the spell was, as it sounded, used to conjure inanimate objects. -.- Who knew? She put her head down and promptly fell asleep.

"It's nice to see you too, Serenity," she said, as she continued to stare out the window.

Amanda was looking at her blank, clean parchment. She was so glad she never got caught in any of the battles about grades. She'd never feel the same around her friends or when she finished the homework again... Sighing heavily, she just stared out at the Forbidden Forest.

Libby came in, and sat down next to Amanda. She was half tuned-in, not really paying attention. She had stayed up late last night to finish the homework, and unlike some of her friends, she didn't half-ass it. She wanted to get a good grade.

Amanda smiled a weird little half smile thing. As her elbow lay upon her wrist, she slightly picked up her hand under it and did some kind of wave.

Libby didn't respond. She was... daydreaming. In other words, her imagination was wandering like Osaka's would. XD

Rachel, did indeed half-assed all her Transfiguration, Potions, and Defense Against the Dark Arts homework. Ah well, at least she had plently of time to finish it.

(I call not being the Professor of this class. =D)

Amanda had stopped waving now and was looking boredly at her desk, wondering would carved in their intials.."Hmm... Wonder what spell they used.." The work was cleary not done by anything but a spell, seeing as there was mis-trial burn marks all over the desk.

(Hey Amanda, I just thought I would ask you this, in the next generation, play more BOY characters, okay? XD If you do, I'll award you one brownie point.)

[Yea I really need to play more boys. Not really an opening for one though when I came in..]

(Amanda, you play him, you were the last one to type that that's on. XD)

[GRRR.]

"Class, class settle down!" A loud voice bellowed from somewhere. But where was it? Then, you could see a tuff of gray behind a little stand in the front of the room. "I've decided to start of the year, to see which of you can perform a very tricky charm indeed! As saw last year, we saw some of the Champions in the Tw-tw-," The Proffesor just couldn't bring himself to say it. In all of his shortness, he walked in front of his stand. "We saw Mr.Krum using this in the second event, the Bubble-head-charm. It allows the caster to breath under water and clense the air around him or her into the bubble, allowing them not to have to smell foul smells! Now please turn to Page 66 of your book and follow the instructions on the board also!"

Rachel pulled out her own copy of the book and turned to the right -page, but she didn't pay any attention to his directions about practicing himself. Instead, she pulled out a spare piece of parchment and began doodling little stick figures and stars and things like that on it.

Serenity looked up, then rolled her eyes and reluctantly looked at the board, pulling out her book and turning to the wrong page entirely, wishing she wasn't so freaking bored.

Amanda looked around the room, seeing only a few kids, stupid ones who hadn't even read the book, trying to do the charm already. Flicking her wand out of her pocket, Amanda began to read the Charms book.

Rachel looked over at Serenity, and though she was using a model, she kept looking back at her ever so often, and she began another drawing.

Libby turned to page sixty-six, and took out her wand. Charms was not one of her best subjects, though she was getting better at it.

"Also! Eight inch essay on the uses of the bubble head charm, and a four inch one on how you did while practicing it and how long it took you to do well!"

"How long it took?" Libby thought. "What are we supposed to do, time ourselves? It took me six minutes and forty-two seconds to get this spell right. :D" Eyerolling, she took out her wand and, half-assed indeed, practiced.
