She was currently on a case where the victim was stabbed with an icesicle, leaving no murder weapon. But, the prosecutor found a footprint next to the scene and was able to get the suspect to confess.

Serenity stood up. "Hey! What's wrong with law!?"

Lin smiled and stared into Serenity's eyes. Both their eyes flashed silver... "I hope you know you'll NEVER look beautiful if you try. Be normal and you'll blossom."

"You come in here and you go around telling people how to look and act like you know everything and your perfect. Well you don't. So just shut your big fat mouth!" Serenity's eyes stayed their normal blue, but she was frowning severely. "How about taking your own stupid advice and shoving it up your left nostril! You need it much more than I do, changing your eye and hair color randomly!"

"..." Lin stood there quietly. Her face stone cold. She seemed to be ready to flee to the shadows.

"And don't you DARE tell me you were hurt by that comment, because telling me I look fat and then saying I'm overdone without even KNOWING me is certainly much worse than the gospel truth!" Serenity turned around, grabbing her book, and walked off angrily.
