Main Hallway to Great Hall

Everyone there was crowding and screaming, pushing to get through. Makes you feel safe knowing these are the brave fighters, eh?

Amanda was making a bee-line through the crowd, making room by pushing people out of the way with her elbows.

Wallace and Clyde were mixed in there somewhere. "What on earth is going on?" Wallace murmured.

Clyde had been eavesdropping and figured it out. "Voldemort," Clyde shivered saying it, "It about to attack the school and anyone over 17 is allowed to stay and fight and if they are should go to the Great Hall. Harry is here as well... Wallace! There's your girlfriend!" Clyde pointed to the black [Amanda's hair] speck poking out of the crowd.

"That's impossible, don't be stupid. Oi! Amanda!" he called."

Amanda stepped backwards toward Clyde and Wallace. She basically repeated exactly what Clyde said, but adding meeting up with Kels. "Wait! That means she's okay!" She just realized Kels was there, and not locked up.

Karin was sneaking around the place.

It was until now, at the last minute, that she realized what mistakes she, and many of the other Purebloods had made.

THEY were the animals, not the Muggle-borns.

And she was going to stay and fight. No one had said anything to her-she was always taller for her age, and she looked like any other seventh year.

It was time.

"This is crazy! How would he get in!?" Wallace obviously wasn't buying it. This was probably just some prank set by that Malfoy or whatever his name was.

Amanda was practically hysterical. "Wallace! It's true! How can I make your believe me!"

Fry was here. "Holly! Eric?! You GUYS! Where are you!" Being so tall as he was, he was able to easily see over most heads. But besides that, there were so many people that he couldn't find them.

"... It's impossible. There's nothing to worry about." Wallace pulled her into a hug.

"Wallace!" Amanda was sobbing in his arms. "I don't know if we're going to die or not tonight! It's all true!"

Karin marched up to Fry, and she begun to stare him down.

"And you don't give a care about me?!" she said, almost shouting at him.

"Don't even say that. We're not going to die."

Amanda looked /down/ into Wallace's eyes. Her's were red and teary. "Wallace, I don't want to loose you."

[snort, you just ruined it]

Wallace just smiled as he always did. "I'm not going anywhere."

Fry turned at Karin. He narrowed his eyes, and glared at her. His hands balled into fists. "No, I don't. What, you here to turn me in again?" he hissed.

Amanda hugged him tighter. Though they weren't moving, they were pushed by the crowd like a wave.

"I'm on your side tonight." she narrowed her eyes at him for a minute. But then, she giggled a little. "You don't want those to be the last words to me, right?"

"No!" Wallace drew a sharp breath and pushed Amanda away. "I-I'm... I love you!" And with that, he melted away into the rest of the crowd.

Fry raised his eyebrows. "Really. You are." He found this skeptical. He tried studying her, but he kind of found it hard, so he turned his back to her. "Plus, you owe me a wand." he muttered.

Amanda screamed, pushed foward. "Wallace!"

Clyde was near the front of the crowd now. Looking for Robin. He had to make sure she was okay. "Robin!" He yelled, his voice like mostly asorbed by the res t of the sound.

"..."

Karin stared at him for a long time. She then reached into her cloak pocket, and pulled out her own.

"Here." and she thrust it at him.

Fry shook his head. "I can't take your wand! You just owe me the money to buy a wand! Look. I'll be happy if you help me find Holly."

"Well, I can't exactly go to Ollivander's and buy you a new wand. Just take it!"
