"I don't know! I don't really have a life, so yeah."

"You don't have a life? You seem the type to have lots and lots of friends besides just me, Eric, Fry, and Holly."

Jake scoffed. "You guys were my first friends since I started Hogwarts!"

"No, that can't be true. Loads of people must be your ex-friends."

Jake shook his head.

"That's horrible. I think you're a perfectly good friend. What did you do before then?"

"I scared people away." Jake said, smiling.

"How? You're not scary. You're perfectly normal."

"I was back then!"

"What was scary about you?"

Jake shrugged. "I don't remember."

"I think you're lying."

Jake grinned. "I scared them all away, because..." he leaned in and whispered, "One kid got me mad and I threw him out of a window." He leaned back. "But then I got into anger management and therapy and everything, and I got all better!"

Selia looked over at the window and stepped away from Jake. "I'm a little scared.."

Jake began to laugh. "Don't worry, the kid was fine. The window was open. I just got into a lot of trouble."

"Still.. I've got to go. Thanks for teaching me. See you at dinner, okay?"
