Room of Requirement

Nicolas was napping on a cot again. He took plenty of naps, now that he could take them whenever and nobody cared. He didn't stir in the slightest when Rachel walked in.

Rachel, then stared at him, and her heart began beating very fast, feeling as though it was going to jump right out of her chest. Her hands were sweating, nervously, and she just stared down at him.

Normally, the old Rachel would have ran over, and shouted at him until he woke, but instead, she softly went over, knelt down, and stared at his sleeping self, like a creeper, taking in everyone of his features.

(The music I'm listening now to this is so fitting.)

His arm was hanging off of the edge of the cot, and he had slight stubble on his chin. He was also slightly smaller than the last time she had seen him, but other than that, he looked the same. Especially since his hair had already started to grow out from the haircut.

Rachel then remembered a trick that if you whispered something in someone's ear, they will dream that. She had tried that trick on Serenity before, and it had worked.

She leaned, over and whispered into his ear:

"Rachel is in here, and she loves you very much."

And so, the poor guy had a dream of Rachel, again. He was blissfully unaware that it was Rachel saying it this time, rather than Kelsi and Fry. So he was dreaming about him and Rachel in the Room of Requirement, all alone.

Rachel stared at him, and frowned. Why wasn't he waking up? She then tried a more direct approach.

"Hey, wake up!" she said in his ear again.

He lazily opened his eyes a bit. "Huh?" he mumbled. His vision was blurry, and he couldn't make out that it was Rachel.

She laughed-loudly. "It's me, you sleepy monkey!"

"Rachel?" his eyes opened wide, and he stared at her. "I'm not dreaming again, am I?"

"You're very much awake." she said grinning, and she jumped up next to him, and kissed him.

Out of pure shock and unaware of what was going on, Nicky kissed her in return. That was also about when he himself realized that it wasn't a dream.

"I love you," muttered Rachel, burying her face into his shirt, while weeping out of happiness. "I'm SO grateful you are okay..."

[Awww... ;w;]

Nicolas hugged her, running his hand through her hair. "I love you, too... You have no idea how much I've been thinking about you, Rachel. I've missed you so much." His shoulders shook, and he squeezed out a few manly tears.

After the hug session, Rachel stared at him. "You're so thin..." she mumbled, running a had on the side of his body. "What happened? Did they starve you all?"

Ordinarily, Nicolas would have said he'd rather not talk about it. But this WAS his girlfriend, and he had to tell her. Thus began him explaining everything that had happened to him.

Rachel then began to cry again, and buried her face back into his shoulder. But these were angry tears this time, instead of tears of happiness.

"I-I hate them all..." she said, in a muffled voice. "I hate them so much! I want to murder them while they're asleep, and take out all their insides and burn them all, and then push the remaining body of a cliff or something..."

He pulled her into his lap, and squeezed her tightly. "I know, I know. But, I'm alright now, aren't I? And... I have a feeling that this will all blow over one day." Of course, Nicolas really didn't, but if he could convince Rachel, surely he could convince himself.

"...I guess you're right." and she didn't say anymore, and instead just immersed herself in him.

And, he did what any boy who hadn't seen his girlfriend in over 6 months would do; he began kissing her.

And there's also a pretty high chance that they would have done other things besides a simple kiss, but we shall leave that up to the imagination.

Even with all the other muggleborns around. Watching them. Disapprovingly.

Rachel then stop doing whatever she was doing with Nicolas, and went to talk to Kelsi.

"Hi Kelsi!" she said grinning.

Kelsi was sitting on the bed. She was staring at the ceiling. There was nothing to do. At all. Nothing. She sighed, and turned to the side. The room had gotten larger, but stuffier, too. More and more people were coming in. She turned to see Rachel. "Rachel! I'm so happy you came here!" She fell forwards and hugged her friend tightly. "I'm glad you and Nicolas have reunited."
