Amanda held a muggle book in her hand called 'Running Out of Time'. Sure, it was an easy one hour read from the look of the size but the plot and concept was ... really cool. Amanda turned the corner to the window seat she had seen Serenity in a lot of times last year, hoping that the moon was shining enough light to read. Amanda walked towards in slowly, letting her eyes adjust to the light. After a minute of standing right in front of the seat, Amanda lowered herself down and lied odwn on it, using her cloak like a blanket, and to hide her PJ's from anyone who passed. X) After a half a minute of trying to get comfortable, Amanda propped her back up on the wall and her legs were curled up beside her. With a content sigh, Amanda opened up her book and read from the moon light.
After about two chapters Amanda had to put the book down. The beautiful scenery that showed through the window was too much not to look at. Amanda pressed her face up on the window glass, not noticing it and getting a hard, cold to the face. With a slight laugh at her sillyness, Amanda leaned back a bit from the window. The view was just beautiful. From where she was sitting, Amanda could see a part of the Black Lake with chunks of ice floating down it, and in some parts completely iced over. As said earlier, the moon was at its fullest and caused a reflection of itself in the Black Lake. Snow was falling, covering the entire outdoors with a blanket of white. Even the dead, bare trees sparkled with snow beside the bright and full Evergreens. Amanda couldn't help leaning in closer, and didn't even notice when she lift her hand up to the glass. Smiling, Amanda took this in for about five minutes then went back to her book.
