An Empty Hallway

Drew was leaning against the wall of the empty hallway, waiting for HER to come by... he had something to ask HER.

Kelsi was tralala'ing down this hallway to the kitchens.
"I'm of to see the kitchens, the wonderful kitchens of cream puffs! " she sang loudly.

"Hey Kelsi." Drew said.

Kelsi stopped in her tracks and turned around slowly.
"Yeeeeessss?" she asked like those weird eel thingies from Ariel.

He shoved his hands in his back pockets. "I've got to ask you something."

"Oh? Well, ask me, then." Kelsi fully had his attention now, and had her hands in her sweatpants. Was he going to ask her... Oh gosh, her heart was beating madly. He was going to ask her. She could feel it in her guts.

"... Where you going? :A" he asked. Then, two seconds later, "Will you go to the Yule Ball with me?"

He asked. He actually asked her. Wow. She grinned widely.
"Well, see here, Drew, No." She stared at him, still smiling softly, and then sighed loudly.
"I'm planning on going alone, see. Alone and proud! But, I'd be honored to dance with you,"

He stared. Blinked. "I see. G'bye, then," he said, waved, and jogged off to the Gryffindor common room.

Kelsi bit her bottom lip and threw her arms behind her head. She was thrilled ecstatic. And had to tell Lib. Immediately. Her appetite was gone, all there was now was adrenaline and excitement. So she ran the other way back to her common room.

Nicolas had moved to another hallway, and was waiting for Rachel.

And so, Rachel wandered out of the showers, all dressed in clean clothes, and she had her hair wrapped in a towel.

"Hey, Rachel." Nicolas waved to her, smiling. "Merry Christmas."

"Hiya," Rachel than quickly tried to pull the towel out of her hair in embarrassment. "Sorry, I just got out of the shower,"

"It's fine," Nicolas said, waving his hand as if to say it wasn't a big deal.

[BATH IT WAS SCARY.]

[It isn't really that scary, just the beginning of episode 8 is freaky. *points to signature*]

"Anyway, err, how are you?"

"Fine. I have a Christmas present for you. :D"

"Really!? Thanks! And err, so do I," She really didn't of course, so she just dug around in her pocket for a minute, and handed him a stick of gum. "Here, Happy Christmas!"

He stared at it for a moment, smiled, and pocketed said stick of gum. "Here's my present." And he kissed her. In the middle of the hallway. :D

"Thank you very much! It sure beats mine by a landslide,"

"You're welcome."
