"Well," Despite being quite embarrassed Rachel explained the whole thing.

"So, in short, Robin's continuing to be a bitch?"

Rachel nodded.

"If she does anything to you... I'm not afraid to stab hit a girl. Even if it would get me in trouble."

"...Please don't hit a girl. I have no respect for guys who get girls. Anyway," she got up and slung her bag over her shoulder. "We better get to class, it's going to start soon."

"I'm kidding, Rachel." Nicolas smiled to her. "I wouldn't hit her." He stood, held Rachel's hand, and the two left.

Amanda picked out a book happily --- then sghe remembered she had four inches left on her potions report. She quickly bean super fast, flowing writing.

As she finished she just threw it all in her bag and checked the book out.

Serenity came into the library, feeling bad about going back on her promise not to bother Angel. She looked through the bookshelves patiently, trying to find either Laura or Angel.

Laura was laughing mockingly.

Serenity walked up to Laura, whispering. "How about we take this outside where we can really talk? No running away, this time."

"Or maybe an empty class room?"

"Fine, wherever. No wands. Come along now, don't want to be late." Serenity turned on her heel, walking out of the library.

Laura followed, weaving through the book cases so the two didn't even look like they had talked.

Serenity bounced through the aisles, walking up to Madam Pince. "Do you have How To Defend Your Boyfriend from a Vicious Whore for Dumb Blondes?" She asked, hoping to check out the book. The librarian made a face, and nodded, pointing to some how to books in the corner.

She bounced over to the books, sitting down on a table and starting to read vigorously.

"And what might you be reading?" said Angel, who was sitting across from her.

Serenity jumped, squeaking slightly and putting her book under the table. "Nothing!" She whispered, shrinking slightly.

But, of course, seeing that he was sitting there the entire time, he knew exactly what she was reading. "Laura?"

She put the book on the table angrily. "Yup. She's pure evil." Serenity sighed. "She's gonna seduce you, then dump you and break your heart and blame me. She told me herself. And she called you a nerd."

"Revenge is unnecessary, Miss Rosensteel." He turned the page in the book he was reading, glancing down at it every few seconds.

"I object to that statement. It's called preventative measures. If her head's cut off, then she can't break your heart, can she now?!" Serenity had both hands on the desk defensively, frowning stubbornly. "I'm not letting her anywhere near you!" She whispered, lowering her voice.

"I won't allow that level of violence, Miss Rosensteel," he said softly, looking down at his book again.

"It was a metaphor, of course I won't kill her. Unless she tries to kill me first, but that's justified self-defense." She sat back, crossing her arms, and looking pointedly away. She looked the same as she did when she was three, except her feet touched the floor now.

"Good." He continued to read.

Serenity sighed. "You won't.. You won't fall for it, will you? Ever?" She sniffled, lowering her eyebrows angrily. "Livi will never forgive you if you betray me."
