"... Really, nevermind." he said, laughing and shook his head. His dark hair kind of fell in his face but then next movement of the head placed it back. "So, tell me, Olivia. Despite everything, you've gotten much prettier," he said simply, then turned around to get the water which was done boiling.

Olivia got what he'd said previously - about her alcoholism. She didn't look amused. "I'm not staying here. S'just that I'm sick of rats." She let her backpack fall off of her shoulder, and it hit the floor with a loud thud. "And... thanks?"

"Yeah. It's true." He didn't seem to care, though. "Of course, I've seen much nicer girls, either way..." he began to smirk.

"Like I care... is that boiling yet?"

"Yeah." He said, pouring water into two cups. "What was that stuff you were obsessed with again? You know, in Hogwarts?"

"Oh, you mean that, umm... pudding! Whatever it was made of."

"Yeah. I think I found something at a wizard trading market. In fact, there were tons of different kinds, I got many, Hopefully we could make a taster of each to help you figure out which one you loved. Because, you know, you must miss that stuff."

"Actually, I don't." She wrinkled her nose. "Too much of a good thing. Ruined it."

Boris frowned. In a way, he missed going to Hogwarts. She had changed a lot. This bothered him quite a bit, to be honest.

"Yeah, then they got all that green shit during my last year," she went on. "It was lime or something. House pride nothing."

"Ugh, gross. You know what's really good, though?"

"What?"

"Coconut cream pie."

"Never had it."

"Oh my gosh, that stuff is the shit!" Boris said. "You don't know what you're missing."

"Is that so?" She sounded apathetic.

A few nights later. Rather late, at that. Early, almost. Olivia had been out drinking again. Slowly, the door creaked open, allowing the blistering cold wind through the space through which she snuck through. "Ahaha," she laughed to herself. No sign of any life in the den, from what she could see through her glassy, rather blurred vision.

Of course, being drunk, it must be hard seeing in shadows. So when Boris stepped out, it must have been quite a shock. Especially when he did so quickly.

Olivia froze, blinking heavily a few times, trying to see who it was. Logic had been thrown out the window around the seventh shot. "... Oh, hey."

Boris scowled. "Honestly? You snuck out to get drunk? Do you know how low that is?" he said scowling.

"What? No!" Olivia shook her head. "I'm not drunk, what are you even... What?"

He glared at her. "It's pretty much just radiating off of you. You smell like shit. You do know you now have another day wasted tomorrow? Seriously, Olivia! Can't you find ways to use your money better? You're the stupidest person I've ever met."

Olivia smirked. "You mad?"

He sighed, and his thumb and index finger pressed together the bridge of his nose. "Yes, I'm mad, Olivia. I don't want some drunk woman in my house."

"Welp!" Her voice was way beyond indoor level. "What're you gonna do about it?"
